I was just accepted into the University of Arkansas for the fall of 2013. I am planning on going through sorority recruitment and living in Reid my first year. I have the option to join the greek TLC. Has anyone ever done it or knew someone who did it? Would you recommend it?

Thanks!

Me too! I know someone who stayed in Reid but didn’t go through recruitment… She didn’t really tell me too much about it though. I think I want to stay in Futrall though, cause I want a coed dorm.

My daughter did the Greek TLC at Reid. One of the benefits was getting to choose her room early so she was able to get a larger room at the end of the hall. She has also had the opportunity to shadow the head of Greek Life and attend several meetings involving all the sororities on campus. If you have a desire to be really involved in your sorority or on the school panhellenic committees later on I think you will enjoy the experience. My daughter has made many connections and is very happy that she joined and actually got involved with the Greek TLC.

Is there a limited number of girls that can be in the TLC or can anyone staying at Reid be in it? It seems like someone told me that only 13 girls did it last year.

Daughter said 30 girls from Reid and 30 from Maple Hill can be in the TLC.
