Is it common for athletes to join sororities at Chapman? Some colleges and coaches discourage athletes from participating in the Greek System.

Thank you. Are there particular Chapman sororities that draw the athletes? As a father and former ZAE President, I found that the sororities were stricter and far less accommodating to other activities, athletics, academic commitments, etc. What is the current culture?
When your daughter goes thru Sorority Recruitment at the beginning of September she will be able to talk to all the sororities and get all her questions answer. My son is in a fraternity at Chapman U and they meet on Sunday evenings so that would not interfere with her team practices if this is when the sororities meet as well. I think most of the Greek life happens on the weekends at Chapman U because there are no Greek houses at Chapman U.
