Hey guys

I have a US green card right now and am now eligible to apply for the US citizenship. Thus, would it be an advantage financially to do this for Yale or for that matter any Ivy league+Stanford and MIT? thanks in advance guys.

To the best of my knowledge, US permanent residents and US citizens are treated identically in both the application process and the financial aid process at all Ivies, Stanford, and MIT (and honestly, I’d imagine this applies to all colleges in the US with the possible exception of military academies). However, there may be some miscellaneous scholarships (not awarded by these universities, but rather by other entities) that are only awarded to US citizens.

No… I’m a permanent resident and I’m domestic. And I get a decent sum of financial aid from Yale.
