<p>Has anyone submitted an application and have the yellow square stay yellow instead of turning into a green triangle? It happened to my son, but he did get written confirmation that the common app and supplement were successfully sumitted.</p>
<p>Yeah, that’s happened.</p>
<p>For example, if you paid the application fee for the college “offsite,” your status may remain as a yellow square even if you already paid and submitted all your application components. As long as you sent everything and have gotten confirmation you should be good to go.</p>
<p>absent, thanks. This college did not require an application fee though. He did get confirmation that the supplement and commonapp was sent. It even has a date that the supplement was submitted, but the yellow box is still next to that supplement and next to that college’s name.</p>
<p>Update: The yellow square did get converted to a green triangle. It took a day for it to change.</p>
<p>Last year, the Common App FAQs included a note about this. I imagine the note is still applicable.</p>
