I guess there are now enough of you for me to do this.

Hi everyone! My name is Archit and i'm currently a freshman at Vassar College. I got in EDII last year, graduated from Venezuela, though I am an Indian citizen.
I've been speaking to a few of you online already, and now i'm just giving out my info to the rest of you. If you have any questions, concerns, whatever, feel free to talk to me. I'll try to make myself as availaible as I can (though, contrary to what some believe, every so often we DO have to do actual work here at Vassar).

Thanks for your hospitality. It's great to have some current students talking to us ED acceptees and RD prospies. I definitely have a lot of questions for ya :)) I'm also an international student so I'm wondering how welcome Vassar is to internationals, the professors, the American peers... are they friendly and open? I heard Vassar is not so diverse in comparison with other top LACs but I hope it doesn't limit one's campus life or social activities in any way, does it?

Vassar is awesome for internationals! First of all, I'm fairly certain they recently changed their financial aid ploicies so that they will meet pretty much all demonstrated need for international students. They used to only do this for americans. The professors and peers are very welcoming as well. There are a bunch of events especially designed for internationals to get adjusted and stuff. AS for being open, trust me Vassar's one of the most accepting places ever, for EVERYTHING.

that's awfully nice of you Archit. fear not, i'm sure i'll be IMing you soon and often with a zillion questions.. thanks for making yourself a target for kids like me

alsooo, im really missing out with those livejournal/myspace kids so someone IM me at avisionarycoward, please

i can't believe my vassar letter should come by the middle of next week... this process has seemed SO long and now its finally coming to an end.
