I really hope so. It would be a horible tease if i didn't get in.

hahaha...i know how u feel! lol it would be a terribly cruel hoax lol

O no don't worry dr_mom. If u meet the requirements u r in. haha I don't even know how to explain this thread. We r all gonna get in...it'll just be nice to have on paper I guess. And I can't wait to c my aid! Hope I get a lot!

Last years thread was stressful because a couple people didn't meet the requirements. Looks like everyone is good this year tho! Wat can I say...class of '10 is just amazing :) hah

ps. I can't even touch gome. He is sooo knowledgeable! He's definitely a giant asset to CC!

Good luck to all of you!
I recently got rejected to Cornell as a freshman RD applicant.
It was my first choice school and I was devastated. I wish all of you the best.
I intend to attend SUNY Binghamton and transfer to Cornell in the fall of '08.

hey i'm sorry to hear about ur rejection! but its great that u have decided to transfer :) best of luck and have a great time at Binghamton!

this is killing me. i'm an ILR GT and a girl i've corresponded with (another ILR GT) got in and has had her decision for a week now. I'm terrified, I haven't done any registration or housing at my present school because I've been assuming I'll go to Cornell next year, since it's "guaranteed." I had a 3.7 last semester and a 3.9 this semester so I don't know what's taking so long. . .I'm worried after reading all the stories on last year's thread about GT rejections.

what are you all worried about? as long as you meet the 3.3 and B above, then you got nothing to worry about. what else can they do? everything is written on paper. cool out haha. decisions will be here in a week.

If I were as patient as you, all would be fine. ;)

hahaaa. . .ian finally called me today, i'm in

heyyy!!! congrats ;)

Thanks, Figgy. I can understand the '10 GTs wanting to have their "official" transfer acceptances; it's just hard to see you all 'suffer' with waiting yet again. The worry over not having housing, course registrations, etc. at your present school while you wait must be tough. Seems like people can relax, though, if they know they've kept in regular contact and have stayed on track with the requirements.

obinnadaone--I'm so sorry to hear about the results of your application this time around. Binghamton is a great choice, imho. It's also near Ithaca and I hear that transfers from there to Cornell are fairly frequent (nothing official in that "hearing," just through the grapevine and a couple of examples I can think of, mind you). Best of luck to you!

Congrats nymetsgirl, that's great!

congratulations NYMetsgirl. Anyone else heard recently?

Congrats, too, NYMetsgirl (sorry I missed you earlier)!

Trillium CB--Will you not find out about your d's prospects until sometime in May, was it?

She was told 7-14 days. At least we stopped checking every day.

I just got a letter from the Hotel School in the mail today. I got in! =) Good luck to all you other Fall 07 GTs. See you in August!

heyyy congrats ^^^^^ :)

anyone HE?

iheartlax - Congratulations!

thanks so much! for those of you who got in and for those of you who are waiting (good luck), do you plan to live in the transfer center?
