I have finally realized that my high school application that would be sent to MIT would be too weak to expect any form of admission from them. I think that I would be able to get into another top engineering school like Georgia Tech. Since GT is a respected engineering school, would it be likely to get in as a transfer student since MITs student retention rate is so high or would there be another university that has admission standards similar to GT but would have a greater chance of being admitted into MIT. I know that I will get into the University of Washington for sure which is rated fairly high for its computer science program. What do you guys think about this?
