Gtown does not consider Writing?

Is that true?

Even if they did not, when I send my score report they will at least see my writing score. So could it still have some effect?

Will my 800 on Writing and 12 on Essay go to waste? =/

I like to think that if you have a bad writing score, they won't hold it against you, but if you have a good writing score, they'll notice it and allow it to positively influence your admissions chances.

They may never see your writing score - supposedly some admissions offices have secretaries superscore SATs and eliminate superfluous scores so the officers don't have to deal with the full report. If this is true of Georgetown, they may in fact never see the writing score.
Btw, I'm in the same boat as you.

I remember hearing that they never see the writing score.

They'll see your writting score, trust me. However it is basically true when they say they dont take it into account when evaluating your application. Obviously if you have a really good score like 800 or an absolutely abysmal score (say 400) that could marginally effect your decision but its much better to focus on doing well in Verbal, Math, and the required SAT II's.
