I recently took the SAT’s for the second time and both my math and critical reading scores went down. However, my writing score went up 100 points, thus making my superscore go up 100 points as well (2130). I know Georgetown doesn’t consider SAT writing but will they see my writing score at all or the 2130? And if so could it help me in any way, even though they technically do not consider it?
Seeing it means nothing. Georgetwon does not consider the writing section in determing admission. There are always those who seem to believe,“Well if they see my good score, maybe the decision maker will be more prone to admit.” That is not reality. When a college has a rule that expressly says the writing section is not considered, it is not considered, and for a reviewer to otherwise do so in any way would violate school policy.
