guest book at recital?

yes or no? and why...

I never saw one but no reason not to. At one of DD’s friend’s HS senior recital they had a wishes board where people could write notes. That’s as close as I’ve seen.

I think it’s a great idea. I actually like to combine both the ideas: a guest book with good wishes from attendees. What a great memory to have.

At D’s high school recital, I did pictures through the years starting with her first performance in kindergarten. Since she didn’t grow up in the town where she went to high school, most people really got a kick out of watching the “process” through the years - they were all singing pictures.

I appreciate your feedback and great ideas Singersmom07 and POTO Mom!

For his senior recital we did a cake with a photo of him with his cello when he was 4. It was a big hit. I like your guest book idea.

I am planning on having one and asking for people to write their address as well. DH recently retired form the Navy, and we are moving for the last time after DS graduation.
