Guidance counsellor recommendation

Hello All,

I just realized guidance counselors have to write recommendation letters. Being an international student my school does not know how to do them well, so I was wondering what is the weight given to school guidance counsellors recommendation letter and if you had any samples I could give as exmaples ot my cousnelor.

If you google “guidance counselor rec samples,” you will find some great articles to give to your guidance counselor. The common app also has a downloadable form to guide the rec.
Also, if you do not have a counselor, another administrator can write one for you.
