guidance counselor

When applying to multiple colleges, do you hand your guidance counselor one copy of common application for him/her to photocopy for multiple schools?

If they are allowed to photocopy each common app. form for multiple schools, that means their signatures (required on form)will be photocopied as well. Is this allowed?

What should I ask my guidance counselor to include in the envelope besides the common app form?

If anyone could give me a full list of what to hand over, that would be helpful.

The Common Application is submitted directly on line to each school you apply to. When you submit the CA, you will then have the opportunity to print out the other forms that have to be sent in through the mail. These include the GC recommendation, LOR from teachers, and the mid year report. Give the GC form to your counselor along with the midyear report form. Give the LOR forms to the teachers you are asking for recs. If you are going to submit a resume or activities list, give this to your counselor as well. You may want to give this list to the teachers who you are asking for recs also. You counselor may want a copy of the CA for their records, but they will not be copying it to send to the schools.
