Tips on bringing guitars to college? My son plays both electric and acoustic but prefers electric. What do kids do who play? He wants to bring his electric but I don’t want it to walk out of the dorm:( Also what amp if any?
My suite mate plays both electric and acoustic and it never seems to bother anybody noise-wise so I can ask them and get back to you!

With The Honor Code I don’t think he’ll need to worry about theft from the dorm. Students leave laptops out in the study spaces and go across grounds to grab lunch…most of their valuable possessions will probably be gone within a few weeks after graduation if they don’t break that habit, but on grounds there seems to be a lot of respect for the code.
