<p>Anyone else told by GW that in order to recieve financial aid package, $800 deposit must be recieved first? I'm a little skeptical towards the legitimacy of a policy and am pretty sure most applicants got to see how much money they were getting before having to scrape together nearly a thousand dollars. Nevertheless, I have sent the money in am crossing my fingers for a good package at a late stage in the process.</p>
<p>Hey, I received my financial aid package before i the deposit deadline. If you are in any financial situation like me ( mid-class parents) then the package should be fine. I got $17,000 and American University only offered me $1300. So you will probably be fine.</p>
