Hi, i heard that GWU is interntionally and domestically known for Political Studies, International Affairs, Chemistry, and Engineering.

I need to know what departments in the Business programs at GW is strong in preparing students for the future and internship opportunities with strong faculty supports? What business major(s) tend(s) to be known for at GW?

With international focus I would imagine International Business, that is what I plan to continue studying if I get in/go there as a transfer in the fall.

not entirely sure as to how strong their business program actually is, I know for this year for freshman admissions they actually had a decline of applicants, interning options are great 98% of students intern at GWU, that is throughout all the colleges, they have programs where they take business students to wall street and they have other programs, I am applying to GWU School of Business for fall 2010, and am a freshman transfer.

No, I’m asking the other types of business majors that are strong at GWU besides International Business.

accounting and finance are good, their finance lab is super nice not to mention their school of business itself the building is new and amazing. They are not amazing in anything really yet for business, they are very much so up and coming, but they are good for all their majors within the college more or less.

Wait, I’ve heard of Accountancy at GW, but never heard of anything with “Accounting.”

same difference right? degree in accountancy is what I meant.
