GW Sophomore Answering Questions

how much does one ususaly spend a week? or per month?

realistically if money was no problem?

Is Elliott School harder to get in to than other schools? Or are the stats of the Elliott students fairly similar compared to those of other schools?

I spend about 12-18 dollars per day on food. That and toiletries and such are the only things you have buy. Outside of that it just depends on what you plan on doing. I almost never spend money going out, but if you do go to clubs, count on it adding up. There is so much to do for free and I never seem to have enough time.

I’m in incoming freshmen. I’ve just scheduled a World Religions-East class till 12:25 and then I’ve got a political science class on the Vern at 1:00. Is it possible to get to the latter class in time? Thanks.

cgermiller

This is from my “S” who also had to brave classes at the Vern. Depending on where your FB class ends at 1225 - you can walk briskly to the closest VernShuttle. The shuttle runs constantly that time of day. Provided no traffic (should be light then) it takes 10 minutes - you should be fine.

If there is any way to rearrange your schedule to allow more time - it would be safer.

See if other students comment.

You’ve got plenty of time to make the trip. I had classes 20 minutes apart and still made it on time. Also, Vern professors tend to be understanding when it comes to lateness.

what’s the maximum number of credits business students can take each semester? without having to pay extra tuition?

I’m not in the business school but I think it is 18. Or if you’re a freshman you can have 19 if you’re taking UW during that semester.
