<p>700 apps for 20 spots is still better than 14,000 apps for 150 spots, which is the scenario for college applicants. GWU gets more applications than any other medical school in the country. That's probably due to its international medicine program (probably the best out of any med school), it's location in DC, and its proximity to the research power of the NIH. Too bad about the rejections.</p>
