does anyone know which school is better for dentistry/medicine? I am still in decision about the two schools!

Thanks, LightMom! My daughter has decided GW and definitely plans to take advantage of all the school and city have to offer. So good to hear the positive comments on GWU.

Actually, GWU’s business school is very competitive. it’s ranked #7 for international business right now. i’m a current student and i do not regret my decision at allllll.
being in the business school gives you a lot of opportunities, academically as well as professionally. you have both an academic advisor and a career coach, and you work with both to ensure your success during and after your tenure here. you are required for a class to have your cover letter and resume “recruiter-ready” by the end of your freshmen year, and we have on average 2-3 big-time professionals speak on campus every month (like the CEO of colgate, entrepreneurs, business etiquette coaches, representatives from the Big 4 etc). also, we have a robust alumni network in every field you can possibly imagine and the school hosts several events for you to get to know them and help you out with internships and stuff. the location in DC is also a HUGE advantage over northeastern because of the resources and opportunities that it offers. i could go on, just ask specifics if you want to know more. and correct me if im wrong but i think gwu has a better reputation overall with respect to applicant standards… and DC definitely beats boston. anyway… like i said, just ask if you want more information.

Congrats, howtofind. I am pretty sure she will be very happy with her decision.

Hey MsBC- :)

Hey Schmohawk, Getting close to graduation, hope you stay in touch :)

yep, I am in the same position of indecision - GWU, NEU AND AU
can anyone give me any info about the sciences at these schools? hearing a lot about PoliSci and IR esp Business…what about a conflicted decider who wants to study EnviroStudies/Science with a combo maybe in Policy/Pre-law??? thanks

Glad to know I’m not the only one facing this problem. I got accepted to both NEU and GWU for International Affairs and I can’t decide! I’ve been in Boston and I love it. Great area for students and I love Northeastern’s campus :S
