GWU vs Syracuse

yes, saving money is a good idea. but it is four years of your life and i think that gwu offers a much better quality of life. honestly everyone i know that goes to su doesn’t like it and i have yet to hear one complaint about gw. money is important, but not more than the experiences and quality of life at gwu and washington dc.

Good luck sethhg!

Thank you!!!

My sister is graduating in May from Elliott School. She loved every second of it. She is entertaining 3 offers after graduation, since she wants to remain in DC.
GW has a great reputation around DC. But she also says GW is an extremely writing intensive school, so if you like or don’t mind to write, then I guess I would say go for it.Otherwise, consider other great options, since Syracuse is great too. Good luck

You are right on all counts, Colormaker. Great internships and connections, great job offers, lots of writing. But you will get so much better at writing! If it’s not a strong point for you now, it will become one. The writing instruction is excellent.

Hey, y’all. We were at accepted Eagle Day at BC last weekend and there was a prominent Jewish presence at the Hillel table and a clear indication that Jews are definitely welcome at BC. There is a Jewish Studies interdisciplinary minor, Jewish faculty, etc. The Jesuits are more embracing of other faith traditions than you might imagine. ;)

I happen to be Jewish and was wait listed at BC haha so that goes to show that they don’t necessarily base decisions on religion!
