So I got accepted at GWU (honors program with 20k scholarship per year), Wake Forest, and the Oxford College at Emory. I haven’t visited any of them, but I am planning on majoring in public health and I plan on going to med school. I have heard that Wake Forest is really hard to maintain a high GPA at (which is important for med school). GW is not as highly ranked, but I have heard it is an amazing school. Any suggestions?
Im a GW alumna and my DD is attending Wake this Fall. GW is in the city without a traditional college feel. Good school very Jewish and snobby. Wake is known as work forest and yes your gpa will be lower but med schools know that. Oxford is in the middle of nowhere but you will transfer your junior year to emory. Emory is the most prestigious and best for pre med. All 3 have med schools. My DD is also pre med and we wanted her to really learn so she could do well on her mcats. Best of luck!!!
