I’m on spring break.

So it’s basically 1 week for me.

Are you not jealous of my perception of shorter time?

I misunderstood you in the other thread! Never mind me!

I’m just as nervous as everyone else!
Haas is still my first choice, but I will be happy to accept Cal Poly SLO’s offer over Santa Clara and UCI for the outstanding financial aid package I am being offered at SLO!

Good luck to everyone!

My stats:
GPA 3.89 (4.0 major)
intern at a hospital (bookkeeping and payroll)
volunteer once a week at our public library
also included employment experience (form Sep 2008-Jan 2010)
never took the SAT or ACT because I was informed they are not required for transfer students.

Do you guys think they take into consideration whether or not you are first generation college student?

I have the feeling I will be rejected but who doesn’t? After all we are putting our hopes on HAAS (more competitive) not necessarily UC Berkeley!

Once again, good luck to everyone!

I’m on spring break also so pretty much 1 week for me as well.

Nocal. Your GPA is good but its not just about your GPA so maybe a lack of relative ECs may be bad but I’m no admissions officer.

@talebi, did you apply to any other schools?

USC and UCI

nice…I really hope you get into those schools.

Thanks I’ve worked really hard and I hope the schools see that in my courseload and essays.

omg this is crazy!!! it’s happening so fast!! 2 years of hard work is all coming down to one moment in just 10 days lol!!
my stats:
3.9
all pre reqs done
lots of ecs
no tap
essays were good i think (private message me so we can exchange essays!)
two internships
two part time jobs

i hope i get in!!

also @talebi818, i read your comments about berkeley and non-uc gpa, but i just wanted to re-confirm that they DO NOT include non- uc transferable courses into your gpa right?? sorry if this question is repetitive, i just wanted to make sure. thanks! :D

Just to let you guys know, I went to HAAS on Cal day and the Advisor told me that pluses and minuses are taken into UC gpa if your school gives them; also she told me they go all the way to the bottom where the calculated gpa is and take that GPA into consideration.

Anyways don’t stress out most of the people who apply aren’t even qualified(i.e missing classes, not up to 60 semester units); as long as you have a good essay and resume; which they told me is what they closely examine(about 50% of application-35%-essay 15%-resume)

Last year they had about 1500 applicants and about 1150 applicants were ineligible so that leaves about 370 applicants roughly 105 are accepted, considering you guys have good stats i feel you shouldn’t be too stressed out.

I am applying next year for HAAS, and since there loosening up requirements i am fairly scared about my chances. IF any of you guys could help advise me towards what you did; it would be really helpful if you could post your stats after or before the decision comes out, and any essay writing tips would be really helpful(PM??) I could really use the help. Since i only have a year left can you tell me any useful EC’s haas likes?
Thanks for your help!!!

Good Luck!!! :)

I like how they come out with decisions April 29th and CSU’s need decisions by May 1! I applied to both types of Universities… what a killer!!!
