<p>Hey guys
I'm in 8th grade, will be applying for 9th, and i was wondering about my chances for HADES.</p>

<p>I go to a good private school, hard curriculum,
Classes I am taking now:
Geometry Honors A
English B+ will improve to an A before the year is over
Greek History A
Science A
Spanish A
Band A+</p>

<p>Indian Classical music on keyboard for 6 years
Tae Kwon Do for 8 years, (will be a black belt next year)
Play trumpet for 3 years and part of my school's concert band
Spanish for 4 years
I am also teaching Tae Kwon Do
Learning computer programming for the past 6 months.
I will be taking SSAT in November.</p>

<p>Thanks in advance for chancing me. Also, if you have any suggestions for improvements let me know.</p>

<p>Alright, that is a good language. I just wanted to be sure that you weren’t learning something obsolete like BASIC, C, or Java.</p>

<p>Okay, C# is basically Java and Java is used more. C is also much more useful that C#. Just trust me on that one.</p>

<p>I’d say you have a fair shot at HADES.
However, the chance threads are quite unreliable. No one can tell you if you’ll get accepted or not aside from the admission committees. I’ve seen applicants receive negative feedback here who end up getting accepted, and vice versa.</p>

I had a small interview with a representative from Deerfield and Exeter at the TSAO event, and they liked me a lot. I think my SSAT scores will have to tell.</p>

<p>Yacova is wrong, Mytherrus. Almost anyone who works with the MS stack today building enterprise applications uses C#.</p>

<p>Well, the AP Computer Science exam is based on Java.</p>

<p>using these grades, will it destroy my chances (speaking of the 2 B’s) because its only the quarter.</p>
