So, I was assigned to Haggett Hall for my freshman year, and I have a question or two about it. I requested First Year Experience on my dorm application and somehow didn't end up getting it. So I am in North Tower instead of South, which has all of the First Year Experience floors. My main concern is that there won't be a lot of freshmen on my floor and therefore it won't be a very social place. Does anyone have an idea of how many freshmen might be in that dorm? Also, do people within the two towers mingle much? Lol that sounded weird, but I'd like to hang out with the freshmen if I can.

Hey Extimera,

So I am an RA (Resident Adviser) in Haggett this year. I am sorry to hear you didn’t make it onto a Freshman Experience Floor. However, Haggett tends to be almost all Freshman. I guarantee that 90% of the residents on your floor will be Freshman. Also, students can and do go between the two towers. You will find Haggett is a very social dorm and I have no doubt that you will meet plenty of other Freshman.

Welcome to UW.

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer! I’m really glad to hear that there will most likely be freshmen on my floor.
