I'm so happy that I was accepted by usc~~well,I am chinese~~I really want to know what usc is like in your opinion. Chinese students always link usc with mountains of sport(~), expensive tuition(...) and Marshall(!!). How about you guys? are students in usc friendly or are they're very Nate(in gossipgirl,he wanted to go to usc at the beginning )??are they more concentrate on their study or activities?....tell me anything you know about usc~~~

er,hope that I did not make lots of grammar errors...^_^

ooo...it's my first thread...hope it successfully posted~

There are lots of current students hanging around here so hopefully you’ll get some good responses but in the meantime, you can also do a search for some old threads on this subject. I think, generally, you will find that USC is such a large school that you will find all of the types of students you described and more.

When I used to attend USC, we were the school that had the biggest population of international students. Chinese people seemed to be a majority (I’m filipino).

Students and staff are extremely nice. Sometimes they’ll just talk to you out of the blue. One time I was with a friend, and we were looking at a yearbook. This girl came up to us the same way you’d approach a friend, asked if it was the current yearbook, and stood with us for a few minutes checking it out before continuing on her way.

As for studying versus activities, you get students of both types. Unbeknownst to me, though, was that 'SC is a party school.
