Haircut

Hi guys, my name is Rico, this is my first post here. My question is where near Clark Kerr campus is a good place to get a haircut? (That's where I am staying). I have always wanted to shave off all of my head hair (it is quite long) but my parents would freak out if I did so I plan on doing so duing welcome week.

Gracias.

If you're going to shave your head as in one number all around, I'd suggest that you just buy a razor and do it yourself.

If you're talking about a crew cut, I am not sure and am interested in a good barber in berkeley myself.

^ LOL! Agree!

I don't think you need a barber to shave off all the hair on your head. Instead, you can pay me to do it. I will charge just 10% under whichever barber you can find!

^Ha thats a rip.

I'll will charge just 11% under whichever barber you find!

My gf cut my hair all last year, so i dont know where you would go to get it cut. Theres a supercuts near safeway on college. But im sure if you look around you can find something. FYI it tends to be a lot for a hair cut. I was looking at prices before i bought my own clipppers, and its like 30 bucks.

For some reason i cant edit my post. I was just going to tell you that in order to get to safeway and supercuts, take the 7, but take it away from campus. So cross the street and get on it there.

***? for like a buzz cut?

THere's a place called UC Hair Salon on Bancroft (near where Zee Zee Copy is)

Well, thats true, a buzz cut is probably cheaper, but i dont think calatheist is going to shave his head everytime he cuts his hair. So if they do charge you that much for them to shave your head, dont do it.

I am afraid my hair is too long for me to try to do anything to it so I want it professionally done. I just want to get my head shaved by an actual hair-cuter and then I will shave my head from then on with my safety razors.

Here's a tip about getting your hair cut in college:

DON'T.

Seriously, I am up for haircutting business!

(craigslist style)

Looking for partners. Need to have hair-washing skills. Special shower-sink-thing for washing people's hair is needed. Please contact "THAT weird Bowlesman asking if people want haircut" a heads up.

Tips are pooled.

I am bring my own razor.

NO, it's not okay to contact this person for personal interest.

I'll cut your hair for free.

Of course...I've never really cut hair before... wouldn't know what I'm doing... But I can promise you one thing: It will be one funny experience.

I've been cutting my own hair since 7th grade. Riceboy with crappy fade and gelled spiky hair ftw.

i went to the supercuts one time and didn't really like the job done - although i guess you can't really mess up a crew cut too bad. it was like 10 or 15 bucks.

****, i need a cheap place to get a crew cut.

ya seriously...i'm used to getting 10 dollar haircuts once a month

I saw a barber shop during my stay at CalSO...its in this little alley street that runs perpendicular to telegraph, like a block down. Sorry, not familiar with the area enough to know the exact steet names, but in that alley is a copy place, a convenience type market, yogurt store, etc.

$10-$15 is pretty standard for the average places in Berkeley. There are, of course, places that will do it for $70 or more.

UC Salon is good, and the press pass, this little plastic card with discounts for students that was free, included a discount there. There's also a place right next to that. They're on Bancroft on the block west of Telegraph, right across from campus.

Sorry, I haven't responded and thanks to everyone's replies. Whenever I try to logon to cc with firefox it doesn't work so I had to upload the opera browser and everything. Anyone know why?
