I got deferred Dartmouth ED too. In retrospect, I don’t mind that as much as the fact that it meant my supplements for other colleges weren’t nearly as good as I would’ve liked. Anyway, good luck for the rest of your decisions! You’ll end up where you were meant to be!

Hey guys! Another international applicant here. I applied ED I and was deferred. I have no idea what’s going to happen on the 24th for me though hahaha
Read the first lines of the e-mail from Admissions. My heart skipped a beat…for some reason all my rejections and waitlists have started like this.
“Thank you for submitting an application to Hamilton College. Our admission staff spent the past several months carefully reviewing each candidate’s credentials and making final decisions…”
Turns out its just the notification for the release date. phew.
I live to be rejected another day.

Was half expecting it to continue with “…reviewing each candidate’s credentials and making final decisions. We regret to inform you that we cannot offer you a place in this years’ class.”

I did not send my essay to Hamilton.
I had to write too many for others and I thought my main common app essay was pretty strong.

hey guys, hamilton announced on their FB two hours ago that decisions would be released at, not by, 8pm. just so you don’t get your hopes up for the 4pm i keep seeing on this page.

Decisions didn’t seem to come early on ED decision day, either. Not sure where you saw 4 PM though, lol 
Hamilton is pretty meticulous about doing what they say. I would not expect anything to be posted before 8pm.
@dreamivy you seem to be really good, could you please post your stats.
