pokey I applied RD what were your D's stats? (just to give me some peace of mind!) thanks and congrats!

Sara- My daughter does not want me to post her information. I will tell you that I looked at your stats from a previous post; you have about the same GPA, your class rank is higher, similar # of AP's and Honors courses, EC are both good. The only real difference I see is that my daughter's SAT I and II scores are about 100 points higher. Her writing SAT II was excellent which at Hamilton she thought might be a plus.

Did you have an interview? It was our understanding that they like for students to have the interview when they visit.

Good luck to you.

Thanks pokey, and yes I did have an interview with the asst. dean of admissions and it went very well. :)

This thread is a treasure chest for information regarding Hamilton College. Have the moderators ever thought about moving this thread to the Hamilton's Sub Forum in the CC's Top Liberal Arts Colleges?

I put forward this suggestion because it has nearly been 3 months that I am in CC and I have been a regular visitor to Hamilton's Sub Forum, but I had never encountered these loads of information, till yesterday.

I think, moving this thread will benefit a lot of other prospective students.
:)

blip-
I for one would like this thread to stay here. When I posted my questions here, I received more information that if I had posted on the Hamilton forum. Many parents here have knowledge of Hamilton, but wouldn't read the Hamilton forum.

I wonder if there is a way to cross post, although I don't think there is.

yeah,
If the post could exist in both the sub forums, it's benefit would double. Hope the mods are reading this! And I agree with what you said abt not much response in the Hamilton Forum.
:) It was just a suggestion, as I didn't want the future applicants to move around feeling their way in dark as I did!
