ahhhhhh ahhhh 1 hour omg
15 minutes!
Portal just updated - accepted!
waitlisted- at least I didn’t get denied!
Daughter rejected
waitlisted
Accepted to start in January 2019. Not bad.
My portal isn’t updated!
Accepted! Does anyone know if the financial aid letter we got would include any merit aide or if there is only need-based aid?
Only need based aid at hamilton
my portal says “this section is currently not available” where the update should be, what’s going on?
Accepted!!
Accepted! But no aid at all! Unaffordable!
I’m honestly really disappointed. The calculator said that they would give us money.
waitlisted! I’ll take that over denied.
@physicsfuture You can certainly appeal your award if Hamilton is high on your list. The 29k a year from RPI is hard to beat but if you’d prefer Hamilton there’s no harm in asking why they didn’t match the calculator.
Accepted! No money
3.9 UW GPA
1490 SAT
6 APs
4 Year varsity athlete in two sports
Lots of ECs and Community Service
Double legacy but my brother got flat rejected ED 3 years ago so I wouldn’t necessarily say that gave me ~much~ of a leg up
Honestly the fact that they added a sentence to my acceptance letter that personalized it to me made it feel really special. I hope the hockey coaches want me because then there’s a good chance I’ll go!!! One of the only reasons I won’t is for financial reasons, same w/ Colgate which is probably actually my 1st choice.
Other decisions I’ve received so far:
Accepted: Colgate, Hobart William Smith w/ Trustee Scholarship, Holy Cross w/ 12.5k Merit, St. Lawrence w/ 100k Merit
Rejected: Williams
Waitlisted: Boston College, Lehigh
Hi! I’m a freshmen at Hamilton and I know a decent amount of people who were either deferred or waitlisted and then accepted to Hamilton, so don’t lose hope Congratulations to everyone who has heard back so far and I look forward to seeing you on the Hill! My advice to those who are accepted is to go to accepted students day, and to join the Facebook group for the Class of 2022. Through these, I made a lot of friends that I still spend a lot of time with today!
I was accepted! I also got almost a full ride with only $3000 that I would have to pay each year. Congratulations to everyone else that got in and if you got waitlisted, then I hope you get in as well later! If you were denied, know that this is not the end and I’m sure that every single one of you will do amazing things in the future regardless of which college you attend.
DD accepted, but not enough aid.
