I've seen many questions about this, but none have been answered. Has anyone gotten there scores changed (for the good or for the bad) because of hand scoring or any other reasons (besides writing your essay in pen)?

Stix, I really thought I was going to score a 770 or higher after checking my answers in the "SAT II US History...hard?" room. I ended up getting my scores back to seen a 730; it was a little disheartening. I know I erased, and may have even smudged the scan tran a bit. So yeah, I think I'm going to submit a hand grade form.

So if there was some smudges, then the hand grading service would not count those (even though a computer would) and pick the answer they knew you meant? If so, cool.

Is there an "X" amount of time after the completion of an exam, in which you can request a test to be handscored, or can you request at any time?
