Handwriting Issues on AP Tests

<p>Can you get scored much lower for your handwriting, or do the readers not count off for that? I didn't realize it until now but I used my sloppy quick hybrid handwriting which sometimes I can barely read myself. Would this significantly hurt my chances? I didn't even think about handwriting at the time because of the little time they give you.</p>

<p>If they can't read it, it'll be counted against you. Otherwise, it won't matter too much. If you wrote a great essay, it will still be a great essay. But surely it doesn't count for you. It will only hurt you, but not as significantly as many people believe.</p>

<p>Typically what happens is if one reader cannot read it, it is handed to another. If that reader cannot decipher your writing, you won't get any higher than a 3.</p>
