"handwritten" envelope?

Did anyone else get an article in the mail with a handwritten envelope about community service at Swarthmore? I was wondering if they are generally interested or if this is like before, when I've gotten the same 'handwritten' letter as thousands of other people? I don't mean to sound arrogant if I was the only one who received it, but I'm a bit surprised that somewhere as prestigous as Swarthmore would take an interest in me.

I got it, too. At first I thought it was kind of odd, but whatever. Sorry, you're not special (or maybe we're both special) :)

I think they send some articles to all the applicants. Sorry to disappoint...

My son received one with an article on the Nobel Prize winner John Mather. There was a note at the bottom and a card from an admissions dean.
