<3 Chidimma

Thanks Chidimma! Happy holidays to you too!

See you at Yale in 05!
--Dani

yeah see you guys there too. haven't been accepted (yet) but hell, i'm an optomist

Wow Happy Holidays! I keep thinking about how BEAUTIFUL Yale must be in the wintertime, all covered in snow...

OH!.....if you wanna see a pic......go to the yale undergrad admissions site.......then click on Virtual Tour....they have this pic that is sooooooo pristine.

haha, yeah, pristine until it all melts and turns into that nasty city slush... it'll be cool to be downtown during those completey silent, late-night term paper writing snow falls, though.

well......i live in Florida...we only get hurricanes...ive never seen a snowfall......and i havent been accepted......shucks

ah, hurricanes and a bush fetish... why don't I live in florida??

lol......youre weird...;)

hurricanes...... ugh let's just say I'm happy that hurricane seaosn is over! woooo I want it to snow here just once while I'm alive. lol It's supposed to snow today or tomorrow. It DID hail this morning.... hmmm

You saying that you want snow is like me asking for a hurricane right now. Ok, hurricane's are a bit worse...but these snowstorms lately have been BRUTAL

I just want one snowflake! okay, so maybe a few......

beachbum, have you ever seen snow?

Coming from the north, that concept seems strange to me. Right now, the news in making a big deal about the snowfall in the midwest, and all I can think in "GET OVER IT. welcome to the rocky mountains."

For college, one great thing is that everywhere, even Middlebury and Dartmouth, can't have worse weather (I'm not considering Alaska for school).

By the way, my list for schools due January 1st (and a few exceptions) is as follows:

Yale (duh)
Princeton
Dartmouth
Middlebury
Georgetown
Brown
Whitman
Swarthmore
Harvard (Why not?, at the very least, it could be interesting turning down a harvard acceptance)
Amherst (Added at the last minuet)

I'm still up in the air about Haverford and Tufts, both of which are easier to get into, and a smattering of second tier schools that give merit money, as well as the free-tuition that I would recieve instate (although I can't ever see myself going, its not berkley or Michigan-Ann Arbor).

Happy Holidays,
Nickleby

GUYS IT SNOWED! IT SNOWED IN NEW ORLEANS! IT SNOWED! yay! IT SNOWED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MERRY CHRISTMAS...

I hate snow, but merry Christmas all!

Dec 24, 70 some thing in LA,
Dec 25, i'm wearing t-shirt and feel like i'm getting burned in the sun.
neither the weather nor the workload (apps) makes it feel like christmas time.
Happy Christmas though

December 24, 30 something
December 25, an inch of snow

yeah, this christmas has been so much fun. All of my relatives asking whether I got into Yale or not... I just love saying No over and over again. It brings me such joy on this merry merry day.

Nickleby, i saw snow in chicago when my band marched in a st. patty's day parade. the only problem was that it was on the ground and covered in salt :( . I havent seen the snow fall though. Ive lived in florida for 17 years, native floridian all the way.

Every year, Chicago gets less and less snow. It's sad. :( Stupid global warming!
