Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!-- Are You Guys At Home?

<p>Seeing as I'm across the country for college, it was decided that I would not come home for Thanksgiving. It sucks to not see my family till Christmas, but it could be a lot worse. One of my closer friends here took me for Thanksgiving to her home (in San Diego), so actually I'm having a good holiday.</p>

<p>There's a girl here at school from the Middle East that I was talking to. She can't go back home until her four years in college are done, because of how difficult the transportation and safety process is in and out of her country(!!!).</p>

<p>Any other students on CC that aren't home for the holidays?</p>

<p>I'm always home for the holidays.</p>

<p>My school is only 40 minutes from my house, so I've been home for every holiday except Labor Day (we had long weekends for LD, Columbus Day, and Veterans Day), plus birthdays (sister, the kid I babysat for...). So yup, I'm home. But tomorrow morning we're taking off to go to the grandparents', three hours north of here until late in the day Saturday. But for now I'm home.</p>

<p>I'm always home for thanksgiving / winter break... 2.5 hours away on a good day, 4+ on a bad day, heh.</p>

<p>I'm stuck here right now. It's eerie, considering that I'm the only one of my 5 roommates here right now.</p>

<p>Fortunately, all of those stuck here had a big Thanksgiving feast in one of the RA's apartments.</p>

<p>Besides, only 3 weeks left before the Winter Break for me! and home sweet home! :)</p>
