Hard Courses and Low Grades or Easy Courses and Good Grades?

Hi,

I think I made some mistakes in my course selection in my high school. I took AP Chem and Calc as a sophomore, but I didn't get A's. I hated my teacher, but thats a different story. I got 5's on my AP's, which I hope makes up for some of my grades. My school does not weight grades, nor does it calculate GPA. Should I take easiers courses and get higher grades, or take harder courses and get lower grades?

I'm not sure if this makes a difference, but I go to Andover. I read on another post that going to Andover means that if you're not at the top, you can still get into a decent school. Advice anyone? My guidance counselor is useless...

universities really like to see that you took the toughest course load that you could...so I guess the best move would be took stick with the APs
