are there harder majors and easier majors? i'm interested in psych and bio, but i can't decide which one to major in (unless if i decide to double major). is psych considered an "easier" major in terms of the classes you take? (sorry if these are weird questions, i'm new to this..)

This can depend on many different things, just go with your interests and you will likely do well if you put a decent amount of effort into it. Don’t choose a major based off perceived difficulty.

D. has taken a lot of Bio and Psych classes, since she is Neuroscience minor (no Psych minor at her school). At her school, Bio is much harder than Psyh classes. The first Bio that all pre-meds take despite of AP Bio in HS is weed out killer. However, Bio is Med. School reguirement, so you have to take it. D. loves both Bio (despite being very hard) and Psych classes.

Most people might perceive that psych is a pretty easy major. Bio CAN be easy, or it can be enormously difficult. Try out a couple classes in each, go with the one you enjoyed more. The difficulty of your major is secondary to your GPA.

General Bio is easy. I think it’s the Vertebrate Anatomy, Biochemistry (esp the metabolic cycles), and Endocrinology some kids seem to find more difficult.

I was referring to the major, not the class. General Bio is definitely easy material, but depending on the school it can be pretty hard to get an A.
