is psych considered easy?
how about weak for careers? useless?

psychology is PRETTY.....easy, but it is an amazing major. It is definitely useful if you plan to go to graduate school. I plan on going to MED school, but I would hate to major in biology or chemistry because of all the labs and boring stuff....I am very science and math oriented, but I really do like Psychology and it works out great for me because I want to have a high GPA and I really love social sciences and the field itself really interest me....but you should ask other people because im only a sophmore in high school...hope that helped

Whether or not psych is easy depends entirely on your school. Yes, intro. psych is often considered an easy course but the later classes are usually much harder. Also it depends whether the class mixes a lot of biology stuff in, my intro. psych class was like that.

I somewhat agree with pre-medwannabe. It's generally considered fairly easy, and harder than those that are considered the toughest majors, stuff like physics, computer science, electrical engineering and computer science, philosophy, ect. It is a field many find interesting, and is the most popular, and fastest growing major (last I was informed, summer of 2004 in a college psych class). It can be very biologically oriented, or not very much at all.

i want to major in psychology, but still do a premed concentration. Does anybody have any experience/knowledge as to how this major and concetration mix?

Depends on your school. At mine, there's no set PreMed program but I was told that if med school is a goal you should focus on mainly bio, chem, some psych (eventually I gave up wanting to be a doc and now just want to have semi-normal study habits) and at least some Spanish language (at least if you plan to work in California or Texas). You should work it out with an advisor from your Psych department.
