The numbers Yale made public have exact numbers of applicants, the number of enrolled students from each state and territory, etc. I transformed those real numbers into percentage because it is easier to grasp for most people. The distribution of the SAT for all applicants is the most interesting number for judging the realistic chance of each applicant and most universities do not release that information. The median SAT score for Yale applicants is significantly above 700 for CR and M, therefore the median SAT score is probably around 2200 for all applicants.
Another piece of rare information is the breakdown of yield according to SAT scores. It is not surprising that the yield for lower scoring applicants was much better than the yield for higher scoring applicants.
