Hardest engineering major?

Just want to know people's opinions on what field of engineering requires the most work/least amount of work. I know everybody's different but surely there's one that is generally known to be the hardest/ easiest right?

I try to convince myself otherwise, but I just keep coming back to mint chocolate chip.

I think Material Science is the hardest.

The hardest engineering major is usually the one you chose not to pursue. The easiest is the one you are pursuing. I am being serious.

Whatever has the most professors that speak broken English. Also, rum raisin is clearly the best ice cream.

Business. Or Bid-ness. Or what we in it call the Biz is the hardest. Which is why so many leave to come to it, because they are just bored with engineering and want to do something practical.

I’ll second the opinion of frugaldoctor. Everyone is different. The one you that interests you… the one you choose… will be easiest. No matter what other people think.

Back in the day, when I went, most people felt Chemical was most difficult, followed by Electrical. But I found Electrical very easy, because it interested me.

[Let me google that for you](<a href=“LMGTFY - Let Me Google That For You”>LMGTFY - Let Me Google That For You)

I’m quite disappointed in how many people are indulging this thread.

Agreed. And Rum Raisin is a ridiculous answer. I would accept Lemon Custard, or Black Raspberry, or Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, but Rum Raisin makes no sense at all.

Clearly this can’t be an opinion thing. Mint chocolate chip is objective fact.

Meta Engineering, Future Engineering.

Tech-ed at my middle school was by far the hardest engineering I had to take in my life.

I’d have to say that German chocolate concoction from Cold Stone… in a cup, of course.

Oh come on, everyone knows that cones are superior.

Have you heard my friend’s favorite joke?

Q. What do you call first year engineering students?

A. Pre-business majors

@sheepster, here is one I recall hearing years ago (without using pretty mathematics):

The limit of Engineering as GPA approaches 0 = Business

Enjoy.

Also, I enjoy moose tracks, I must admit.

Yes, moose tracks!!

Yes to moose tracks!

Alright, this thread is seriously making me want ice cream now
