<p>hey. i was wondering, since the colleges see all the tests you've taken although they dont consider all of them for admission, is it harmful if i've taken 4 SAT IIs and done mediocre on them (650ish)?</p>
<p>I really hope it isn't, because I've taken five (they're between 650 and 800) and may be taking one more. Before you all jump on me to tell me how unnecessary that is, I originally took French and Literature because they seemed easiest, then for a while I wanted to apply to MIT (which requires one math and one science) and couldn't decide which science to take out of chem and bio so I ended up just taking both, and now I'm retaking the sciences since I know I could much better (current scores are 650/680) and possibly taking Spanish because I'm self-studying and there's no other way for colleges to see whether I'm any good.</p>
<p>Which isn't to say that it's not overkill, only that I wasn't taking 7408230482 tests just for the hell of it.</p>
