Harvard Admitted Student Stats - 2013

Statistics of Harvard Class of 2013 here:

Harvard University | FAS | Financial Aid the Key to a Record Admissions Year

Interesting... ca. 200 internationals from 82 countries... I hope Hungary is among them :D

PLEASE LE ME BE IN THE 1.3% of Native Americans admitted…

Now I see that I have no chance :D

Just my observation but Harvard does the absolute best job of recruiting applicants (for tier 1 schools). I had plenty of unsolicited mail from Harvard including invitations to special events where they bombard you with clips of famous people who went to Harvard telling you that you should apply, they are holistic in their review of applications etc. Overall I thought their application was limited compared to Stanford, Rice and UVa. Just a hindsight perspective - anybody else see it this way? Oh yeah, and I fell for it and applied.
Good luck to you all waiting.

A record 10.9 percent of admitted students are from Latino backgrounds

I’m Latino. Yes :D

“Alumni/ae interviews were more important than ever this year as the Admissions Committee had to choose from so many highly qualified applicants.”

Yes! again!

I hope ana ivanovic gets to list her stats in this thread…

^Sorry, I realized that the title was deceiving but it was too late.

DO NOT POST RESULTS HERE, THERE IS ANOTHER TOPIC FOR THAT

lo siento.

i hope she’ll be among the asians that get in then =P

Even though I’m getting rejected, I <3 Harv. The class of '13 sounds amazinnnng.

haha 0.4 percent of the admitted were Undecided. haha I put Undecided I’m done =[

^ that’s talking about the proportion of the class that was X race, not the proportion of X race that was admitted…

for that you’d need to know how many of each race applied

It meant Undecided for major.
