HARVARD again top destination for Andover grads in 2006

<p>Upon reflection, I think the initially-reported number of Yale matriculations may simply have been in error, and the number was corrected from 8 to 13 in line with info I'd obtained from another source. (See the original post in this thread.)</p>

<p>As for the increase from 18 to 19 in Harvard matriculations, this may have been a waitlist admit who had previously expected to matriculate at Penn. I note that the 10 Penn matriculants reported earlier have now dropped to 9.</p>

<p>So as it stands: Yale has a lower acceptance rate at Andover while Harvard has a higher yield rate. It's about on par with the rest of the nation.</p>

<p>Yield IS selectivity.... ie, how many people do you have to admit to get an equal number of matriculants of equal quality?
