Will the reinstatement of both Harvard's and Princeton's SCEA option have a significant effect on the size of the applicant pools for early admission at Yale, Dartmouth, Penn, Columbia, Brown, and Cornell? Will we see a decrease in the number of early applicants to these schools?

Yale is the only other EA school, the rest are ED. EA and ED work very differently, both in who applies and how decisions are made, so they cannot be lumped together. Just as the Ivies, an athletic league, should not be lumped together for admissions. For the question you are asking, the most relevant schools are Y & S which are both SCEA and have similar admission rates and FA policies as H & P. I don’t know about S, but there was a thread on the Y forum discussing this.

itll decrease the others’ application number
