Harvard and the Ivies ranking

Hi everyone. I was wondering how you rank the Ivies?

Is it:
1)Harvard, Princeton, Yale
2)Columbia, Upenn, Dartmouth
3)Brown, Cornell
or
1)Harvard, Princeton, Yale
2)Columbia, Upenn
3)Dartmouth, Brown, Cornell
or
something else? Please make your own chart if you feel differently

Thank you

oooh boy…well rank in terms of what? prestige? grad school admissions? job placement? student happiness? student-faculty ratio? how many facebook friends bsDBer2010 has at each school?

i mean, this is a controversial topic as it is, without being so vague.

1)Harvard, Princeton, Yale
2)Columbia, Upenn
3)Dartmouth, Brown, Cornell

just my opinion…

1) Harvard, Yale, Princeton
2) Dartmouth, Columbia, Brown, Penn
3) Cornell

I think each of the Ivies is different and individually stellar. But just for fun, from a layman’s perspective:

Harvard

Yale, Princeton

Penn, Columbia, Brown

Cornell, Dartmouth

What about the 20 other schools that rank somewhere within that group? Are we pretending that these 8 schools are it?

More like we’re only talking about the Ivy League, so there’s no need to bring other schools into it.

Yeah, let’s just consider those eight schools (the Ivies). For clarification on format, we can just follow what aznjunior, slipper1234 and kvmpk did. Thanks everyone.

Strictly based on my personal preference:

1 HYP
2 Columbia Brown Dmouth
3 Penn
4 Cornell

There are a plethora of threads about this. E.g.:
