-National Merit Semi-finalist (definitely going to be a Finalist/Scholar)</p>

<p>-ECs: Varsity Golf (Team Captain and 3 Time Letterwinner), Tennis, Speech and Debate, BPA, Spanish Club President, Young Democrats, Mindmasters Academic Competition and National Honor Society</p>

<p>-Community service (over 200 hours): Elementary School After-School Scholars, Rest Home, Underage Teen Pregnancy Home, Underprivileged Youth Golf Scramble, Elementary Spanish Class, and Rotary Basketball. </p>

<p>I think you have a pretty good shot. I mean, I got in with a 1980 SAT...and my SAT IIs were all in the 600s and a 3.7 GPA..but amazing essays, recs, and ECs...good luck and hope to see you here next year...give me a call</p>

<p>Solid application, but how are you going to stand out from the pack?</p>

<p>um you actually dont have a very good chance to go because of your sat. My friend got rejected with a 5.0 gpa, 800 in all 3 sec in sat, and plus he was valedictorian of 1200, and president of 5 clubs. and he skipped 4 grades, srry dude!</p>

<p>This is for Puckslut---I am really curious. How did you get in with those stats? did your family buy a library or are you a recruited athlete or legacy or some combo thereto??</p>
