Harvard Chances?

I have a very solid 3.2 GPA, my SAT scores are pretty good at 1820 (3 sittings) and 540 world sat II and 630 math lvl II sat II.

I have some cool EC's (I interned over 100 hours at my Grandfather's hedgefund and am captain of my school's polo team)

I attend a private boarding school where on average 15-20 kids get into Harvard/Yale per year.

My mother attended Harvard, and my father, grandfather and great grandfather have also attended Harvard.

Do you folks think that my "adequate" SAT score is going to hinder my chances (I applied early by the way)?

Thank you in advance!

Thanks for providing me ample amounts of laugh.

I’m confused…? @paul2752‌

I can’t tell if this is serious… I think it is and that scares me.

A 3.2 would certainly not be considered “solid” for Harvard and your sat scores generally would be laughable by Harvard’s standards. That said, your chances exist solely on the fact that you have such a deep family legacy and truthfully, it seems that it is possible for you to get admitted.

Are you actually considering Harvard or are you just a Tee-Argh-O-O-ELL? I believe that you are a latter.

Your GPA is BOTTOM 0.72%, your SAT is far below the average. Your legacy and your grandfather’s hedgefund is far from enough to compensate for your serious lack of academic strength.
If you think you can get in just because of your family’s legacy, you are VERY wrong.

If you weren’t a rich legacy you’d have about a 0% chance, but since you are you have like a 1% chance

Your Alumni is fascinating however your 3.2 Gpa drastically burrows your application. You have extra cirricular activities however the balancing is weak. I’d shoot for a more reasonable college , Harvard might judge your application harshly unless , post you excell

Trolololol

Funny post, I think. Sort of refreshing after all of the 2350s, should I retake threads.
