To me the most annoying part about this is I’ve put off writing quite a few supplements until my Harvard decision came out…hopefully I’ll have more than a week to finish those up! :))
@pineapple86 I KNOW RIGHT? I can barely do a college a day (if that day is during the weekend)
the wait is turning me into my own username tbh
how did people last year know when ea results come out?
@yuvanni they got a confirmation when they called
Now I am just saying. It’s 1:00, I have a 4-hour math exam with 8 chapters on the list and I haven’t started studying. Damn you Big H.
(P.S. the worst part is I feel like I am going to get deferred SO badly so this is pointless but hey)
can someone else call/email so we have more than one source? not that i don’t believe the update, but just to be sure?
at this point i would just expect it for tomorrow.
I don’t believe @HYP2020. There is no way that they would just tell someone because they " cried on the phone."
no notifications, we get rejected like men
I haven’t looked on H portal in long time. I noticed that mid year grades have a red x next to them…is that true for everyone applying scea?
@flyboy1 Yes, that’s the same for all.
Mine has a green check
@flyboy1 Yup. The CC consensus is that those are senior year first semester grades, which are usually submitted around February.
when i submitted my harvard ea app i didnt plan to write the optional essay, but i forgot to hit the submit button for the writing supplement section. but i did submit my application. they prob still looked over my app right?
Yes @star628 , the application specifically states that the writing supplement is entirely optional and does not have to be submitted. You’re all good.
Ok thanks for info because I have couple friends who got into other ivies early who did not have that on their portal checklist and others who did got wait listed…don’t know if that is Harvard specific
Um maybe im getting waitlisted then
hyperventilates
The writing supplement doesn’t appear on the checklist, since it’s optional.
