I perused Harvard's Creative Writing website, and I know that one must apply (submit a sample of work) to be admitted into a creative writing class. Can any current students tell me how competitive getting into a class is? Furthermore, how satisfied do people who have taken CR classes generally feel about the program overall?

I don’t know too much about the creative writing program, but what I’ve heard from friends is that the classes are great (led by great, successful writers, lots of workshopping with talented classmates). They’re not easy to get into (probably accept < 50% of applicants), but if you apply to a few classes, or try over a few semesters, you shouldn’t have problems getting in to one or two.

lol, creative writing

Man, shalashaska, every time you reply to a thread…I just dislike you more and more.

LOL @ disliking people on CC. Mad yalie is mad?

Not mad, glad. Glad I’m not going to Harvard.
