Fiction writing workshop

<p>Does anyone know how hard it is to get into the fiction writing workshops at Harvard. I know you have to submit a sample and a letter of purpose, but what are the chances of getting in? How many kids try for the available spots? Do you have a prayer of getting in as a freshman or sophomore, or do you pretty much need to be fa junior or senior? I know its not require to be an english major, but does it hurt your chances if you're not?
