I know that Harvard and MIT both allow cross-registration between the two schools.
Is it possible for one to major at Harvard and get a minor at MIT.
For example, would it be possible for me to major in Economics at Harvard and get a minor in either Physics or Mathematics at MIT?

From the Harvard Handbook for Students, Harvard College:

“Before cross-registering, students are advised to be certain that the course or courses in which they are interested…do not cover subjects available in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. If there is any doubt, consult the FAS Registrar.”

Since physics and mathematics are both offered at Harvard College, it seems your plan would not be possible.
