Does harvard have a specific subject line on its acceptees' emails? I hope not because if all the acceptees got "Congratulations!" or something like thing that, then they would know right away....and rejectees would know right away too :(

I think it’s the same, generic title for all decisions, probably something like “Your Harvard Class of 2013 Decision.”

Most likely its a generic. Maybe something like: “Your application to Harvard College”

IDK, my Johns Hopkins subject line said congratulations! Class of 2013

^ yeah it did, i was surprised. I belive past threads said the Harvard decisions had a generic subject line. And somehow you wont know the decision by looking at the gmail preview

My JHU’s subject line said “A message from Johns Hopkins.” I got waitlisted.

I hope no matter what the decision is, it won’t say in the subject line. And only after opening it will you know the decision.

For the class of 2011, the subject line read: “Your application to Harvard College”.

2010 said: “Admissions Decision”

hope my gmail preview doesn’t spoil the fun!!!

fun?!?!?! you have a strange idea of fun :)

The subject line of the email will read “Haha. No.”

“All your decisions are belong to us.”

You can download the emulator for zero wing btw.

I’m seriously thinking of turning off GMail message previews just to prevent this…

I don’t remember what my son’s said, but it did NOT say “congratulations” or “rejection”

“Viagra: 50% off”

how did you turn the gmail preview off??

"“All your decisions are belong to us.”

You can download the emulator for zero wing btw. "

ROFL.

I just turned off the snippets option on Gmail. I want the suspense of having to wait for my email to load when I click on it. I don’t want to know I got rejected right off.

I just turned off my Gmail snippets too. crosses fingers

Good idea! I just turned off the Gmail snippets too.

A lot of people complain about online decisions, but I kind of like the suspense of waiting for the page to load, etc…reading the snippet is like getting a large or small envelope…pretty anticlimactic.
